What We Offer
An individual can come for a few hours, a day, overnight, or longer. All you have to do is let us know when you are coming so that one of our volunteer greeters can make you welcome. You can reserve our hermitage for an extended time, or be on the land or at the Main Retreat House for a few hours or overnight. You are free to follow your own spiritual leading, or we can recommend a spiritual director who can be engaged to assist you.
Penuel Ridge is a special place to which a person, or a small group, can withdraw for rest, renewal, and re-charging.
Small groups can reserve our facilities for their own retreats. You can stay overnight, do your own cooking, or have meals catered by a vendor of your choosing. A church staff, a group of officers, or a team of co-workers find this a good spot for coming together and setting directions.
We offer Penuel Ridge sponsored retreats on weekends throughout the year.
They vary in length, but always include time for quiet reflection alone, as well as time for sharing with others. Check our Calendar for what’s happening next.
Our Quarterly ENewsLetter, “The Ridgeline” carries feature articles, a closer look at upcoming retreats, poetry, devotional material, our wish list, volunteer opportunities and more. To receive “The Ridgeline” and monthly announcements, please sign-up here. We’ll gladly add you to our growing list of friends.
Penuel Ridge is supported entirely by the gifts of individuals, faith communities, grants and the modest retreat fees. Your tax-exempt gift would be appreciated, and your presence even more!
Call us before you come so we can be here to greet you, show you the trails, and help, if you need it, in ways of listening for the Sacred while you are here. Our number is (615) 792-3734.
